Today is International Women’s Day. The day is an important world-wide event and I would like to mark it by finding a woman from the constituency who has done something special to come and join me at a number 10 reception in April.

Today celebrates the magic and joy of reading books, with children dressing up as their favourite characters and talking about books in school.

Today’s budget announced a £20 billion package of tax cuts and support for workers, low income families, pensioners, businesses, the NHS and the hospitality sector. I am so pleased about the measures that are being introduced.
