Like many in South Ribble, I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of our neighbour Paul Urey earlier today.
Having worked with the Foreign Office to secure his release, I know that our diplomats did everything they could to bring him home.
I’m holding his family and friends in my thoughts today, and offer them my most heartfelt condolences.
