Great catch up with Kevin Lavery Chief Executive of Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB).
We talked about the new hospital that will be replacing the Royal Preston Hospital in 2030. £2 billion will be invested in the hospital as part of the biggest programme of hospital building in a generation. Whichever site is chosen will have good transport links and be purpose-built to meet the needs of patients.
We also talked about services, our hospital services, service standards and the ICB’s change plans for the future.
