Today I appealed for Ministers to reconsider plans for a third prison in Ulnes Walton.
This project does not have the support of the local community, there is neither the public transport nor the roads to support it. Building a third prison alongside Garth and Wymott will impact communities in Ulnes Walton, Croston, Leyland, and further afield towards Chorley. I'll continue to use my voice in Parliament to stand up for the people of South Ribble in opposing the third prison.
