I met with the Environment Agency at the Preston & South Ribble Flood Risk Management Scheme information hub to find out about how the works are going to keep Penwortham safe from flooding.
There’s been terrific progress made in the last few months on the flood defences along the banks of the Ribble. Pieces of work are coming together and they are moving on to the next steps of their plan to keep South Ribble safe.
