It was fantastic to meet with the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt to discuss nuclear power and how important it is for us in South Ribble and the North West as a whole.
There are people across South Ribble with the skills required to work in nuclear power. Expanding nuclear has the potential to bring jobs, growth, and energy security to our corner of the country. Whether it's working at Springfields or further afield at places like Sellafield and Heysham, there's plenty of experience in nuclear up north and it would be brilliant to see this sector grow.
